Well, thats a waste. The blood will just be digested in the stomach. Reproducing more blood would be good for the system, but the blood itself is probably not so good for the stomache. Also, infections seem likely. And no, obviously it is not normal. However, having a high IQ is not normal. does that mean it is wrong or bad? No. However, I'm pretty sure cutting yourself with a non sanitary item, sticking your bacteria laden mouth over the bleeding wound and sucking out your own bodily fluids is not smart. But that is just my opinion.
