There are a lot of options for customizing your blogspot blog. The blogspot template lets you customize the header, body, wrapper, and footer. You can make changes using css (cascading style sheets) code in each of these sections. The most basic changes you might want to experiment with are changes to the background color and font color. You can also use this to modify the border and do lots of other cool stuff. There are plenty of css tutorial sites on the web so I won't get into the specifics.

one tip - be sure to backup your template before making major changes. You will thank yourself later.
